Registration

Registration for SKAA 2027 is open to everyone involved in the care of the injured shoulder and knee – surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, residents and students. Registration is open until 31 October 2027 or until all places are taken, and is processed on a first come, first served basis.

Registration fees

Early bird 220 EUR Until 31 May 2027, 23:59 CET
Regular 260 EUR 1 June – 30 September 2027
Late 300 EUR 1 – 31 October 2027

All fees are in EUR and include VAT. Registration is possible online only until 31 October 2027 or until all places are taken; registration at the venue will not be possible.

Registration fee includes

  • Access to all scientific sessions on both symposium days – lectures, Orthopaedics vs Physiotherapy battles, re-live surgery sessions and the Poster Battles
  • Access to the exhibition and networking area
  • Symposium materials – programme and electronic abstract book
  • Coffee breaks and lunches on both days
  • Conference dinner on Thursday, 4 November 2027, at 19.30
  • Electronic certificate of attendance (sent by e-mail after the symposium)

Registration fee does not include

  • Travel and accommodation (see Venue for hotels and how to get there)

Payment and invoicing

Payment is due within 3 working days of registration. Your place will be reserved until the payment deadline. Confirmation of successful payment and registration will be sent by email within 7 days of registration.

Terms and conditions

  • The applicable fee is determined by the date of registration, provided that the fee is paid within 3 working days. Registrations submitted after a deadline are charged the fee of the following period; a registration cannot be transferred to an earlier, lower fee.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing to info@skaa.si. Cancellations received by 30 September 2027 are refunded minus an administrative fee of 50 EUR; later cancellations are not refunded. Refunds are processed after the symposium.
  • Name substitutions are accepted in writing at any time until 31 October 2027 at no extra cost.
  • By registering, participants agree to the processing of their personal data for the organisation of the symposium and to being photographed or filmed during the symposium for the organisers' reports and promotional material.

Official language

The official language of the symposium is English. No simultaneous translation is provided.

Visa

Slovenia is part of the Schengen area. Participants who need a visa should apply as early as possible. After registration and payment of the fee, the conference secretariat issues a personal invitation letter on request; the organisers do not contact embassies on behalf of participants. If a visa application is refused, the fee is refunded minus bank charges on presentation of the refusal letter.
