Grand Hotel Bernardin, Portorož
SKAA 2027 takes place at the Grand Hotel Bernardin, part of the St. Bernardin Resort on the seafront between Portorož and Piran. The five-star hotel houses the largest hotel congress centre in Slovenia. The whole symposium – lectures, battles, re-live surgery and the poster battles – runs in a single conference hall, with the exhibition, coffee breaks and lunch right next to it, and the sea a few steps away.

By car: Portorož is reached via the A1 motorway from Ljubljana (about 120 km) or the H5 expressway from Trieste (about 36 km). An e-vignette is required on Slovenian motorways.
Nearest airports: Trieste (TRS, about 75 km), Ljubljana (LJU, about 140 km), Venice Marco Polo (VCE, about 190 km), Venice Treviso (TSF, about 180 km), Pula (about 90 km) and Zagreb (about 260 km).
By bus: Regular coaches run to Portorož from Ljubljana, Koper, Trieste and Venice. The bus station is about 1.5 km from the hotel.
By train: The nearest railway stations are Koper and Trieste.
Outdoor parking and a garage are available at the resort. The garage is subject to a surcharge, payable at the hotel reception.
Participants can stay at the Grand Hotel Bernardin itself or at the neighbouring Hotel Histrion and Hotel Vile Park within the same resort. Further hotels and apartments are available in Portorož and Piran. Booking information will be published together with the registration.
